The Project Officer’s overall role & responsibility is to ensure all projects assigned to him/her will be planned and implemented exactly and promptly as per requirements of all concerned parties, especially the Project Sponsor. Part of his/her job is to implement the methodologies and standards for the department and organization, create a project management plan, monitor progress regularly and conduct risk management analysis to ensure the timeliness of each work. He/she shall also create and review all project documentation and will assist users with and facilitate the specification, analysis & economic justification of the project needs to ensure clear, complete, cohesive, attainable and financially justifiable business.
Qualifications:
• A college degree or equivalent work experience
• Knowledgeable in Integration, Scope, Time, Cost, Quality, Human Resource, Communication, Risk and Procurement Management
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Average knowledge of all standard industry software packages and operating systems
• Ability to motivate people, instill accountability and achieve results
• Impeccable organizational and time management skills
• High attention to detail
• Must be highly dependable, with a "Can Do" attitude
•Trustworthy, must possess unquestionable integrity
