LU! Live 2009 Live Blog and Social Media Coverage

All roads once more lead to the World Trade Center as thousands of Filipino gamers gather for the biggest online gaming event in the Philippines, Level Up! Live 2009.

This year, expect an even bigger online presence for LU! Live, as we further enhance the multimedia coverage that we started last year when we liveblogged and live-streamed LU! Live for the very first time.

First off, check out our brand new live blog/live video stream page at http://liveblog.levelupgames.ph

Props to our Online Platforms Manager Kevin Codamon and our Producer Niel Caruncho for the redesigned live blog page, and to our fellow Multimedia team members, Editorial Assistant Mel Villanueva and Video Specialist Gelo Obosa, for all their help in making our multimedia initiatives possible.

You’ll be able to watch the LU! Live 2009 live video stream and join the live blog on Nov. 7 and 8 by going to http://liveblog.levelupgames.ph. The live video stream will start on Nov. 7, 10 am, Philippine Standard Time.

PLDT myDSL subscribers will be happy to know that they can watch the LU! Live 2009 live video stream for free on PLDT WatchPad. We’re proud to partner with PLDT WatchPad for this live video stream, and you can click here for more details.

Just as we did for the Ragnarok World Championship 2009, we’ll provide social media coverage of LU! Live 2009.

To get LU! Live 2009 updates, become a fan of the official Level Up! Page on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/levelupinc

You may also add the official Level Up! accounts on Twitter (http://www.twitter.com/levelup_inc), Plurk (http://www.plurk.com/levelupinc) and Yahoo! Meme (http://meme.yahoo.com/levelup). We’ll be using the hashtag #live2009 on Twitter.

For photos, you may visit the official Level Up! page on Flickr. For videos, check out the official Level Up! YouTube channel at http://www.youtube.com/levelupinc

Want to be part of the social media coverage? If you’re on Twitter, please place the hashtag #live2009 on all your LU! Live 2009-related tweets. For instance, maybe you want to plug your guild’s booth at LU! City.

You may also add the tag LIVE2009 on your blog posts, photos (for instance, if you’re uploading LU! Live 2009-related pictures to your Flickr accounts), and videos to share your Level Up! Live 2009-related content and make it easier for other Internet users to find them. We’ll also be able to send more people to your site because we’ll be showcasing posts with the LIVE2009 tag during the LU! Live 2009 live blog and on the Level Up! Portal after the event.

Remember, LU! Live 2009 is about you, the LU! Community. Thanks to you, Level Up! Live has remained and will continue to be the country’s biggest online gaming event.

United We Play.

  1. This may be an old post but still. Level-up Rocks! I’m a fan too and an avid gamer since the beginning.
