Level Up! Live Tournaments Heat Up Baguio!

The temperature hit the boiling point even in cold Baguio City when Level Up! Live held one of its most-anticipated regional tournaments last June 13 and 14! Many players attended to get a piece of the action and to find out who will emerge as regional winners to compete in grand tournaments for Ragnarok Philippine Championships 2009, RF Online NEST, Flyff Heroes of the Dragon Emblem, FreeStyle All Stars 2009, Perfect World Phoenix Council Wars, and the first Baguio representatives for Rohan Blood Wars, Grand Chase Digmaan, and Crazy Kart Grand Prix.

Once all the smoke has settled, it was soon made clear who were left to savor the cheers and applause of the audiences…

Among the 12 worthy teams who came all the way from different parts of Luzon, only the players from Pasig, Makati and Sampaloc who call themselves “Team” of New Chaos Server have successfully claimed the RPC Baguio Regional title. Others who came close to victory were 1st Runner-Up myro allstar (Valkyrie Server) and 2nd Runner-Up Envy (Valhalla Server). All three have earned their respective places in RPC history as well as their respective prizes!

As 8 teams participated in the first ever Blood Wars, Vengeance was finally given to the winning Team Immotional when they went up against Team Rai who took 2nd place followed by Team Mm in 3rd Place. Over a hundred attendees witnessed the blood shed, while some even took home special prizes from the raffle event.

Perfect World Phoenix Council Wars (Dynasty Wars)
A total of 220 attendees came, 16 teams participated, and only one victorious champion called Shadowrun was hailed as the PW Council Wars Baguio Regional Champ. Pangu has once again blessed Perfect World with a new breed of warriors!

Wars especially in Novus are never without its casualties even for teams like the Immortals (2nd place) and Carnage (3rd place) when they went up against the now hailed champion, Fenris. The tides may yet turn as the regionals continue in other parts of the Nation.

High up in Baguio, Roika held a daring aerial battle where MEGADEATH flew and eventually landed as the Regional Champ title and Vyasapuja as the 1st Runner Up. 120 Flyffers celebrated after by singing in the Videoke Challenge, matching wits in Flyff Dictionary, and participating in the Hale Party, Paper Dance and the Vagrant Race.

FreeStyle All Stars 2009
At ComWorld Café, Baguio City, Team ZKBOSY made their winning basket against Team FSU during the FS All Stars 2009 Regionals. With a total of 6 teams who joined that day, it was the teamwork of ZKBOSY’s Team Captain, gibson01, and members Krelle and eizlyn that outshined the others.

The Digmaan tournament was far from being a tragic end with Team Ever After as the Champion while Happily EA came out in 2nd place followed by EA Flavourz in 3rd place. Attendees even experienced their own ever after happiness when they participated in raffles and events like the Meteor Longest Sound-a-Like contest, Videoke Challenge, and Bring Me contest.

Much crazier than Kennon road in Baguio, the tracks in Crazy Kart’s Regional Championship Circuit tested the driving skills between the home team of Baguio, Steel Wolves, and the team from La Union, La Union Pride. Although they lost in the first match, La Union Pride was able to overtake Steel Wolves’ lead and win at the end of the circuit.
Congratulations to all the winners and participants of the LU! Live Tournaments in Baguio! All of you have proven worthy to be hailed as one of the talented and most skillful online gamers in the Nation!
