Valentine’s is a time when most people give gifts and make themselves known to their crushes and loves. Whether in real life or in-game, there are always ways to let yourself be known. This Valentine’s, pRO offers you various quests to make gifts and make yourself known to those you secretly admire!

Valentine’s Ring Event
Mechanics:

The Valentine’s Ring Event Maker collects materials and zeny from players to create a Valentine’s Ring. The ring can then be given to a player of opposite gender. Players can turn in received rings to the Valentine Popularity Manager as vote points (per ring). Each player can only create one ring per character, but there is no limit as to how many a single player can receive. By the end of the event, the character who has turned in the most rings will be called the “most popular” character of their gender.

*Voting period is from February 11 until February 24, 2009.

Requirements (per ring):

Base Level 60
At least 1,000 zeny
Wrapping Paper x1 (can be purchased, 200z)
Wrapping Strap x1 (can be purchased, 200z)
Box x1 (can be purchased, 600z)

Guide:

1. Talk to the Event Ring Maker at Prontera (154 185). You need to be Level 60 and above to be able to make rings for the event. Materials for the ring can be purchased at the Packs Trader located at Prontera (147 174)

2. Once you create a ring (or a box containing the ring), you need to give it to a character of opposite gender.

* A box made by Males will contain a Gold Ring
* A box made by Females will contain a Silver Ring
* Gold Rings are given by Males to Females
* Silver Rings are given by Females to Males.
* Either box or ring can be given to the opposite gender.
* Each character can only make 1 box.
* Boxes and Rings are droppable and tradable

3. Once you get a ring (you can get as many as you want) you can surrender them to the Valentine Popularity Manager located at Prontera 157 185.
Select the first option “Please register my rings”

* The NPC will only count the correct rings for the gender

* Gold Rings for Females
* Silver Rings for Males

4. Rings will amount to Vote points. The male and female with the most vote points per server will win a prize!

You can check how many vote points you currently have by talking to the Valentine Popularity Manager and selecting the second option. “Please count my votes”

5. Once the voting period is over, talk to the NPC Event Manager at Prontera (prontera 156 185) to claim your prize if you’re the most popular Male or Female.

Rewards:
Valentine’s Emblem

• A special emblem that is given to the most popular character
• Atk + 5%
• Matk + 3%
• All Stats + 2
• Flee + 10
• Aspd + 1
• Increases effect of Heal, Potion Pitcher and Potions by 10% when used on the caster.
• Item has an expiry date of 1 year from the date the box is opened

Chocolates Galore!

Chocolates are a huge part of Valentine’s, people give them as a sign of their affection. pRO allows you to give chocolates to the people you love!

Mechanics:

Characters can create a Wrapped plain Chocolate (with their name on it) or a hand-made Chocolate (for Female characters only) and give it to a player of choice. Male characters will not be able to create a Cake.

Chocolate Box

1. Talk to the Trader NPC in Prontera to check what is required to wrap up the chocolates. You can purchase Chocolates from Trader, 5 at a time. He will need the following:

* 1x Chocolate
* 1x Wrapping Paper
* 1x Wrapping Ribbon
* 1x Box

Chocolate can be bought for 5000z each from the Trader NPC. However, he can only sell a maximum of 5 chocolates per transaction.

2. Purchase the other needed materials to create Chocolate Box from the NPC, Packs Trader at Prontera (147 174).

3. Return to Trader NPC to have your Chocolate Box made.

Rewards:

Personalized Chocolate Box

* Contains 1 chocolate inside.
* Weight : 0

Hand-made Chocolate

1. Talk to the Dessert Manager inside Prontera Castle. He’s at the Lower Left stairs right after you enter the castle, leading to the Castle Kitchen.

2. Chocolate can be bought for 5000z each from the Trader NPC in Prontera. However, he can only sell a maximum of 5 chocolates per transaction.

3. Return to the Dessert Manager in Prontera Castle and give him 3 Chocolates; he will give you 1 Hand-made Chocolate.

Rewards:

Handmade Chocolate

* Restores HP and SP
* Weight: 8

Limitations:

Can only be done by Females.
